Shoes to suit your venue
Harriet Wilde started designing wedding shoes in 2008, over the years we have learnt a thing or two and we'd like to share our top tips.
So the first things to consider when thinking about your wedding shoes:
- Your venue and the type of surfaces you'll be walking on.
- The height or type of shoe you usually wear, if you don't wear heels but want a straighter posture to wear your gown go for a mid heel height not a high heel.
- Harriet Wilde are too good to wear once, choose a classic style that you'll wear again, we work with a factory in Spain to produce our shoes to a high quality in luxurious materials, they will last for years.
- The height of the heel compared with the height of your partner, our best selling styles are available in 2 heights, a high and a mid version.
Venue Types
The Barn wedding

Opt for a stable and supportive block heel, the shoes have a fastening so your feet are stable and secure. Lisa could handle a heel so she chose the higher Hetty.
The City elopement

"I loved my Arabella's so much! The were absolutely stunning and very comfortable to wear and most importantly dance in all night!"
The Outdoor ceremony

The mid heel is perfect for an outdoor venue, your heels won't get stuck in the ground and the block heel offers stability throughout the wear.
