CREATE A CUSTOM EMBELLISHED SHOE
When you plan a wedding, it is all about the details, it is your day and looking and feeling good as a bride is so important, it is your day to be on show and to feel and look incredible.
Your theme and colours play a big part in the planning and preparation, finding shoes to perfectly co-ordinate is a dream come true, with the Harriet Wilde exclusive custom embellishment service, you choose the shoe style and the embellishment, we create the shoes especially for you.
To embellish you can choose from 8 different floral embellishments, we have a shorter version and a full-length heel depending on what you prefer.
We have a fast selection of luxurious wedding shoe styles to choose from, most are available in a mid or higher heel height, for most of our higher heel bridal styles we have a platform for extra added comfort. The block heel wedding shoes are the most popular, brides find this type of heel extremely easy to wear, it offers stability and support, both points help as you don't usually wear a wedding dress and you want to be able to walk, dance and enjoy being on your feet all day long.
HOW DO I ORDER THE SHOES
View the styles in the collection, select the shoe, use the drop-down menu to view the embellishments, each style has an image with each embellishment.
If you are unsure before ordering, book to visit the Harriet Wilde London showroom, book a virtual appointment if you can't make it in person, our helpful team can show you all the styles and embellishments and answer all your questions on fit, the order process or any other questions before you order online.
When we receive your order, we will contact you, we send the plain shoes and a loose embellishment to you, you can try the shoes and check that you are happy to proceed. At this point we can exchange or return. For some clients who are between sizes we can send a couple of pairs then you can try both to help you decide.
We want the fit and the style to work perfectly for you, we will help you with exchanges or any questions that you have when you try the shoes, we find it helps if clients can send photographs wearing the shoes to answer and assist with fit questions.
We design and manufacture our shoes, we know exactly how each style fits and how it converts from UK to international shoe sizes, we can 100% help you.
We include a return label or if this isn't possible, we reimburse the post cost to return the shoes and embellishment after you have tried.
Once confirmed we require a min of 3 weeks to hand embellish the shoes for you, this work is completed in our London studio, it’s a skilled job completed by our designer, each pair is hand finished for you.
When finished we will send the shoes to you, we suggest that you try and wear the shoes before your wedding day, wearing a minimum of 4 times, waring around the house helps, the shoes will soften to your feet and be more comfortable on your wedding day.
If you do not wish to dye your shoes then you can use a silicone protector spray, this can be used on the fabric and suede styles, cover the embellishments with a cloth while spraying.
KEY POINTS
- For every order we send the shoes for you to try in advance of creating your one-off pair.
- Timing is key, as each pair is hand crafted especially for you, we need a min of 3 weeks to finish the shoes when they have arrived back to our studio.
- When you order please factor in the time for us to send the shoes to try and add the shipping time to return and the shipping time to return the shoes.
- Order as soon as you can, the more time the better, please see our payment plans to spread the cost.
- You are worth it, invest in your shoes and accessories, you can wear them again after your wedding, better quality shoes will offer more comfort throughout the day, and you won't regret the investment.
- Order online or book for the London showroom, book a virtual appointment if you can't make in person. We can show you the shoes and the embellishments and help you to make decisions before you order online.
It important that your wedding shoes are comfortable, you are wearing them all day and if you invest in a pair crafted in luxurious materials you will feel comfortable and reap the benefits.
We only use premium materials to make Harriet Wilde wedding shoes, our silk satin is sourced from Italy, its 100% dyeable (we offer this service), we use kid suedes and all of shoes have a kid leather lining and leather soles. All these materials means that your feet will be in shoes that with a bit of wear they will get more moulded to your feet and offer optimum comfort.
